At least one Eagles' player feels exactly like most fans do about the team not acquiring cornerback Jalen Ramsey.

Speaking anonymously to ESPN's Josina Anderson, one player had this to say about general manager Howie Roseman and the front office being outbid by the Los Angeles Rams for Ramsey:

The Rams ended up giving two first-round picks and one fourth-round pick for Ramsey, who is considered the best cornerback in the game and is just 24-years old.

The Eagles were rumored to be heavily involved in trade discussions for Ramsey, but as has been the case with almost all of the big-name players they are rumored to be in on, Roseman did not get a deal done. Part of the reason the Eagles were apparently so interested in trading for Ramsey is the issues they have had in the secondary this season.

Speaking Wednesday prior to practice, Eagles head coach Doug Pederson had this to say about the team not getting Ramsey.

"There is no disappointment. [It’s] hard to comment on that because obviously he's not on our team. Yeah, [I have] a lot of respect for him. [He is a] good player. [I’m] happy for the Rams obviously. He'll be a great addition. They have some corners that are banged up. They obviously traded one, so he'll fit in well there," Pederson said. "Listen, we're getting guys back, too, on our team, and I'm excited about the guys we have coming back and getting in the mix. We're starting to get healthy as well, so that's the encouraging part from our side."
