It is produced by NFL Films in association with Gotham Chopra’s Religion of Sports. Chopra, of course, was the producer of Tom vs. Time. He joined The Greg Hill Show Wednesday morning to discuss how the documentary came about.

“It was almost a year and a half ago, I think FOX Sports actually approached us knowing that I worked on Tom vs. Time and said basically we have all this footage, you’ve probably heard about Tom’s jersey being stolen after the Falcons Super Bowl, but they had all this footage both from broadcasting the game, all the cameras they of course have around, all the closed circuit footage from the locker rooms and everything," he said. "They had a lot of footage of that jersey literally being stolen and all the mystery and drama around it. They said, ‘What do you guys think about putting together something that would be very different than Tom vs. Time,’ but ideally would require Tom.’

"I looked at the footage and thought it was pretty amazing. We all kind of read and heard about it, but there was so much. The documentary is a filmmakers dream when you’re looking at all that stuff to be able to use it to put it together to tell the story. That was the impetus.”

Chopra added that Brady will be part of the documentary.
