DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says the team will not be represented at Colin Kaepernick's workout this weekend in Atlanta, despite multiple team sources saying otherwise this week.

"We’re not gonna have anybody there. We’ll look at the tape if we need any information there. We really like where we are with our quarterbacks," Jones said on the K&C Masterpiece on 105.3 The Fan.

Two high-placed sources informed 105.3 The Fan's Mike Fisher earlier this week that the Cowboys would be in attendance. So, it appears the team changed its mind.

The Cowboys are currently in negotiations to extend quarterback Dak Prescott have Cooper Rush, who has appeared in just three games in his NFL career as his backup.

Kaepernick has not played in the NFL since 2016, the same year he began protesting social injustice by kneeling during the national anthem.
