The MLB offseason is expected to be a busy one, with a deep free agent pool and some marquee names that could hit the trading block.

Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts is one of those star players who could be dealt, as well as Kris Bryant of the Chicago Cubs.

Bryant is scheduled to become a free agent after the 2021 season, although he has a grievance filed against the Cubs over service time manipulation, which could potentially expedite his free agency to next year.

The 2016 NL MVP has already reportedly rejected a $200 million contract extension with the Cubs, and while GM Theo Epstein is not necessarily ready to rebuild, he certainly appears to be mindful of the luxury tax.
