PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan)- Steelers guard Ramon Foster joined The Fan Morning Show in his weekly spot on Tuesday's at 8 am and gave an interesting answer on whether he and his teammates imagine disgruntled Arizona cornerback Patrick Peterson in a Steeler uniform. Peterson requested a trade from the Cardinals on Monday.

"Yes, to be completely honest with you, absolutely," said Foster. "That's no disrespect to anybody on our roster at all. But I feel like when you have an opportunity to get a guy like him or position yourself with a defensive player of his magnitude, you've got to see if your management team will take the shot."

"I don't know if we wll, but you know, it's all a fairy tale dream we can all live in until the trade deadline is up."

Ramon is well aware that this is the Steelers "window" to win with an aging core.

"The talent that we have offensively and the way our defense is growing, you've got to take your shot, man," said Foster. "I'm a firm believer in it. I'm more worried now about getting a ring and getting to the show again more than anything else. Those windows close whether it's talent, whether it's contracts, whatever the case may be. I feel like we have a strong chance of being able to do that."

Foster also said the Steelers need to be very focused against a desperate Browns team this week, how the offense is playing right now and how he warned his teammates to protect themselves against Vontaze Burfict in their last game.
