PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - A report from ESPN Monday evening says that Le’Veon Bell will return to the Steelers sooner than we thought.

Jeremy Fowler says Bell will report to the team during the week 7 bye and that he is ready to go.

When Steelers guard Ramon Foster was asked during the Fan Morning Show Tuesday if the relationship between Bell and his teammates will be strained when he returns, Foster said,  “we’ll see when that time comes.”

“He’s taken his stance. He’s proven his point. He’s worried about himself and he has the right to be so if that’s the decision and the stance that he wanted to take, if he feels like it’s right then its right. Our thing is football is the game that we play and we’re paid for right now,” said Foster. “We got other issues around the locker room that we have to deal with. We have to win games.”

Bell’s presence on the field has been missed but Foster says you can’t blame Le’Veon’s absence.

“There’s so many other different variables that went into us winning and losing those games . . . it’s more or less we got to execute more than anything. I don’t think you can say it’s directly reflected on him, our thing is we just got to be a better team period.

It’s Foster’s hope that when Bell does return he takes time to speak with him, Ben Roethlisberger, Maurkice Pouncey and the other leaders on the team.

“But who’s to say he will. I saw some pieces of the article where it said hopefully we understand his side of it and we’ll just see. I don’t want to say too much because I haven’t directly talked to him, said Foster. “I just hate it’s come to this. We’ll see if we have to sit down but at the end of the day he signed a contract, he’s our teammate. We’ll welcome him in. We’ll do the necessary things to try to correct this ship with him and move forward.”
