PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan)- If there's one thing we know about Steelers-Jaguars matchups recently, it's that there's always a lot of talking.

Remember when Mike Mitchell was reportedly yelling outside the Jaguars locker room before last year's playoff game?

Steelers guard Ramon Foster joined The Fan Morning Show in his weekly spot at 8 am on Tuesday and talked about some of the extra things going on during the 20-16 win over Jacksonville on Sunday.

"I think it was the second interception, I specifically saw (Jaguars linebacker) Telvin Smith walk right behind Ben for no apparent reason just to say, 'That's #2 we're going to get more.' I walked behind him and said, 'Hey, just make sure you keep that same energy towards the end of the game,'" said Foster.

"I was like hey, we've been here before. You guys are new to this. I'm just happy to say we won the game at the end of the day because there was a lot of just nonsense because they felt like they had our number and rightfully so. They beat us twice at our place and put up a lot of points and made us look normal. I was just happy we got the last laugh this year with them being 3-7."

Foster can understand why the Jaguars are so chatty but also said they might need to learn their place.

"You look at the dynamics of their team, they've brought in a lot of free agents, they have a lot of young guys new to the success. They have a city behind them that's really hoping that that Jacksonville team can be really good because they haven't been good in a while," said Foster. "A lot of their success starts with their defense, point blank period. They have a really good running back on the other side but it starts with their defense and they know that's the side of the ball that people come to see. So I don't blame them, it's just that, hey when you're 3-7 you've got to know when to be quiet, too."

Foster also talked about that final play in which Ben Roethlisberger won the game by keeping the ball and powering his way past the goal line, something Foster really didn't see coming.

"I thought he was going to pass behind me because I was pulling, it was a trap play, a shovel play. The guy bit on Vance and he just ran it in, I didn't think 7 was going to run it in. It was awesome. I couldn't believe it. And I was like, 'Please let the replay say it was a touchdown.' That's all I could think," said Foster.
