PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - According to reports, The Pittsburgh Steelers have traded quarterback Josh Dobbs to the Jacksonville Jaguars for a draft pick.

NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reports the Steelers will get a 5th round pick in 2020.

Dobbs, who was Ben Roethlisberger’s backup last season, dropped down to third string after it was announced Mason Rudolph would be Roethlisberger’s backup his season.

There has been interest in Dobbs for some time now. He did not dress for Sunday night's 33-3 loss to New England.

Dobbs was selected by the Steelers in the fourth round of the 2017 draft out of the University of Tennessee.

Dobbs played in five regular season games with the Steelers completing 6 of 12 passes during his tenure.
