PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - The Pittsburgh Riverhounds traveled to Charleston, South Carolina to take on the Battery Saturday night. The Riverhounds began the night looking to continue their 6-game unbeaten streak early on this 2019 USL season.

Kevin Kerr found the back of the net in the 5th minute to put Pittsburgh up 1-0 early in the game.  And then just 7 minutes later, Kenardo Forbes put the Riverhounds up 2-0 and they would take that lead into Halftime.

Kerr's goal to open up the scoring allowed him to tie Corey Hertzog for the third most league goals in club history with 27.

The 2nd half was rolling along with not much happening until late in the half when Zeiko Lewis cut Charleston's deficit in half as Pittsburgh led 2-1 in the 76th minute.  And then just like that, 5 minutes later, Nicque Daley tied the game at 2 for Charleston in the 81st minute.

The game would end in a 2-2 tie as both teams come away with a point and the Riverhounds extend their unbeaten streak to 7 -games.

Pittsburgh is now 2-1-5 in 2019 with 11 points and in 11th place in the Eastern Conference and Charleston is 4-1-3 with 15 points and in 5th place in the Eastern Conference.
