(PITTSBURGH - 93.7 The Fan) - Ben Roethlisberger joined Ron Cook for the Ben Roethlisberger Show this week and the first thing they discussed was the Antonio Brown situation and what else is going on with this.

"That's what baffling to me, people are making a big deal about a walk through on Wednesday, a fight between he and I," said Roethlisberger.  "If there was a blow up or something, I sure of heck didn't see it.  I'm not sure where that comes from."

Roethlisberger talked to Antonio Brown on Thursday morning and he felt that everything was fine.

Roethlisberger mentioned that his teammates have reached out to Brown and haven't heard back yet.

"I know guys are frustrated," said Roethlisberger.  "Some of the guys have reached out to him and haven't heard back and that's what is frustrating to a lot of the guys."

Ron asks Ben about the Team MVP award and the fact that Ben didn't win it this year and if it bothers him.

"No, not at all. I voted for Pouncey," said Roethlisberger.  "And I think there were a lot of guys deserved of the award. To me being a captain is a higher honor."

Roethlisberger also weighs in on his offensive line and any potential changes that could be coming this off-season with personnel and coach.

Ron and Ben also discuss how year one with Randy Fichtner as Offensive Coordinator went.

"I thought there were growing pains for us in terms of learning each other, learning situation things and that just comes with a new position and a new guy we communicate with to call plays," said Roethlisberger.  "If you look at what we did offensively, it was pretty awesome.  I thought it was an awesome first season for Randy and I'm excited for next year with him."

As Ben is entering his contract year and they discuss what will go in to the decision for how long he wants to play in the league.

"I've got another year on my deal," said Roethlisberger.  "As long as they'll have me I will be back.  It's all the lineman up front and it's just so much fun to play with them."

Ben says he will just let the process play out as it does and for as long as the Steelers want him he'll love to be here.

And Ben also believes that the window for this team to make a Super Bowl run is not closing any time soon.
