PITTSBURGH (93.7 The FAN) - With reports coming out that Kevin Colbert has put contract extension talks with Le'Veon Bell on hold, The Starkey and Mueller Show read a little more into the meeting Colbert and head coach Mike Tomlin are having with LSU running back Derrius Guice.

Most of the draft prep has been focused on which defensive player the Steelers would take in the first round, but if they are truly interested in Guice, that could change everything.

According to just about every draft projection we could find, Guice is projected to go in the late first round or early second round.

"I like him!" Joe Starkey said.  "But obviously they have $14.5 million allegedly comittedd at this various moment to Le'Veon Bell."

The guys looked at what a Bell-Conner-Guice backfield trio would look like next year.

Would it be in the Steelers best interest to trade Bell if they did indeed draft Guice and he hit the ground running?

You'lkl have to click the audio link to hear what percentage chance the guys actually give the Steelers of taking an offensive player with their first pick.
