PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - Sidney Crosby’s hot streak is being rewarded again for the second time in three weeks.

The Penguins captain has been named the NHL’s Third Star for the Week after he tied for the most points in the league with eight (3 goals and 5 assists).

He was named the Third Star back on February 18.

Since the beginning of February, Crosby is the second-leading scorer in the NHL with 25 points. Nikita Kucherov of the Tampa Bay Lightning is the only player with more points since February 1.
