PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – The Pittsburgh Steelers officially announced Training Camp will not be held at St. Vincent College this year.

Steelers owner Art Rooney II made the following statement Wednesday:

We are disappointed for our fans and the city of Latrobe that we will not be able to hold our annual training camp at Saint Vincent College in 2020, but we are adhering to the policies and guidelines set forth from the NFL for teams that travel from their facilities each year.

We look forward to returning to training camp at Saint Vincent College in 2021.

The Steelers will hold training camp at its South Side facility.

It was reported Tuesday that all NFL teams would be required to hold training camp at their home facilities amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The Steelers have hosted Training Camp at St. Vincent for the past 54 years.
