BALTIMORE (93.7 the Fan) – Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin and his team won its fourth straight game, beating the Ravens 23-16 Sunday in Maryland.

“Tough environment today, Ravens were playing with a lot of resolve, it’s great to get AFC North road victories under those circumstances,” Tomlin said.  “We weren’t perfect by any stretch, but I just love the spirit and competitiveness of the group.”

Steelers held the Ravens to a pair of 23 yard field goals and a 37 yarder to stop Baltimore’s drives.  Tomlin’s team also converted 63% of its third downs.

“They were third or fourth in the NFL in red zone offense, so to hold those guys to field goals in the first half when they were way down there and converting third downs in the second half with the offense.”
