Steelers Sign DE L.T. Walton To Replaced Injured Tuitt

Tuitt is out for the season with a torn pectoral

PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - The Steelers have officially placed Stephon Tuitt on the team’s Reserve/Injured List after the defensive end tour in pectoral during Sunday night’s win against the Los Angeles Chargers, forcing him to miss the rest of the season.

The fill Tuitt’s spot the Steelers have signed former sixth round draft pick DE L.T. Walton.

Tuitt was considered one of the top stars of the Steelers defense so far this season.

He was tied for team sacks with 3.5 and also has 6 tackles for a loss.

Walton played in 36 games for the Steelers, starting in four in 2016, with 22 tackles and 2.0 sacks.
