Steelers Sign Three from AAF

PITTSBURGH (93.7 the Fan) – The Steelers have signed three more players from the now shutdown Alliance of American Football.

Cornerback Kameron Kelly, linebacker JT Jones and defensive tackle Winston Craig all got one year contracts Monday afternoon.

Craig played with the San Antonio Commanders after spending the last two preseasons with the Philadelphia Eagles. 

The North Carolina native played was a team captain at the University of Richmond and a former all-state discus competitor.

Kelly is 6’2” and played at San Diego State where the corner was first-team all-Mountain West with 10 career picks. 

The 22-year-old Kelly spent last year in the Cowboys training camp before signing with the San Diego Fleet.

Jones comes from the Atlanta Legends after spending the 2018 preseason with the Atlanta Falcons and the 2017 season on the Falcons practice squad. 

The defensive end had 27 tackles for loss and 16.5 sacks in his final two seasons at Miami, Ohio.

The Steelers signed a center and defensive back from the AAF on Friday.  Off-season practices begin next month.
