PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - Two Steelers’ players have been added to the team’s Reserved/Injured List.

Fullback Roosevelt Nix and wide receiver Ryan Switzer have been placed on the IR, virtually ending their seasons.

Switzer suffered an injury during Sunday's game against the Rams and Nix is dealing with a nagging knee injury this season.

Nix's run block will be missed on the offensive side of the ball.

Taking their place on the rosters will be wide receiver Tevin Jones from the practice squad and have signed linebacker Jayrone Elliott.

Jones signed a Reserve/Future contract in January. He played at the University of Memphis from 2011-2015.

Elliott is rejoining the team after he was released on October 31. He has played in three games for the Steelers this season and 42 games during his four-year career in the NFL.
