PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - The tickets for the Steelers' 2020 season are on sale now, the team announced on Friday.

But the Steelers are only making 50 perfent of their maximum tickets available for purchase this year.

On Friday afternoon, Burt Lauten, the Director of Communications for the Pittsburgh Steelers, tweeted that the team "held back 50% of the normal ticket inventory" when the sale went live.

Lauten also announced via his tweet that the team hopes to be "proactive with these limited amount of tickets as [the Steelers management] are preparing for possible social distancing scenarios at Heinz Field this year."
