Eric Hagman

Eric Hagman is an update anchor and reporter for The Fan.  Eric joined KDKA Radio in 2009 after serving as sports director at KQV Radio for 18 years.  While at KQV, he was a six-time recipient of the AP’s Best Major Market Sportscast/Feature in Pennsylvania. 

A native of Kane, PA (home to “Dream Team” coach Chuck Daly), Eric has covered the Steelers, Penguins and Pirates since 1982. He also worked as a sideline reporter and postgame host for Pitt football broadcasts and play by play announcer for California University football. Prior to arriving in Pittsburgh, he covered multiple sports programs at Penn State.

Eric and his wife Mary Lou reside in Peters Township.  They have two sons Nevin and Arden.
