Josh Rowntree

Josh Rowntree is a reporter and update anchor for The Fan. Josh joined KDKA Radio in April of 2016. Josh has been in broadcasting since 2009, serving as a play-by-play announcer, show host, writer and social media manager for the TribLIVE High School Sports Network (formerly MSA Sports Network). In his time there, he has covered a dozen different high school sports.

Josh grew up in Pittsburgh and is a 2010 graduate of Point Park University with a BA in broadcast journalism. He currently serves as a play-by-play and color analyst for the University of Pittsburgh on the ACC Network Extra and is the voice of Carlow University athletics.

Josh and his wife Chelsea reside in Highland Park with their dog, Burt.
