Steelers greats have been appearing in national advertisements for years. Troy Polamalu for Head and Shoulders, Antonio Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster for Pizza Hut and of course arguably the most famous one, Coke’s Mean Joe Green Super Bowl commercial

But popular Twitter account Super 70s Sports reminded us of a classic ad we forgot about that features Green, Franco Harris and Terry Bradshaw!

Mattel Electronics Football 2, released in 1978, was considered state of the art for its time.

The Football 2 was the sequel to Football 1 improving on the first game by adding running forward or backwards and even being able to pass!

While the game isn’t as exciting as Madden, it held up and remained popular with fans. So popular it was actually re-released in 2002 with an updated LED screen.

Super 70s Sports is a great place for a laugh and to remember the good old days.  (Heads up, @Super70sSports does use adult language)
