Will Your Thanksgiving Turkey Be Deep-Fried Or Oven-Roasted?

November 17, 2018 - 10:00 am

Thanksgiving. The one time of year you can eat more than any human should and nobody looks at you like you have two heads.

Of course the star of the day is the turkey. Traditionally, most Thanksgiving meals start early in the morning with prep work in the kitchen. This includes getting that bird in the oven so it's ready by the time brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins and maybe some people you don't even know grab a plate and sit down to give thanks. And eat.

In recent years however, deep-frying the turkey has grown in popularity. Some claim it produces a juicier, tastier turkey. Others, not so much.

So we asked Facebook users how their turkey will be prepared: oven-roasted or deep-fried?

89% said they will oven-roast their bird, while just 11% said they were going to deep-fry it this year.
